Fall Nails

Two weeks ago I decided to stop being lazy and paint my nails.  The recent drop in temperature makes it feel like it is officially fall so I opted for “Isn’t It Grape” by Nicole by OPI because I wanted to do a darker color.  “Isn’t it Grape” is deep purple with a gold glittery tint.  I loved the polish and how easily it went on my nails.

I always use Esmalte Endurecedor para Unas as my base coat (since I met a lady in a grocery store and she told me that it is the best base coat for your nails), paint two/three coats of color and top it off with Sally Hansen Insta-Dry since it dries my nails in like… 30 seconds and I have absolutely no patience when it comes to waiting on my nails to dry.

Last week I decided to go into the salon for a mani-ped.  I would have done it myself but I suck at cutting cuticles and I wanted that professional touch that only Beverly (my nail tech) can provide.  I would have loved to get designs (like I used to) but since I have been getting warnings about my nail colors at work I chose Wicked by Essie which is like a chocolate color, (which I can say is nude for my skin tone at work lol) and it looks black if I wear the right color with it.  I’ve had it on since the 9th and it hasn’t chipped yet (knock on wood) so I am pleased with that color.  Essie never lets me down though, they have amazing nail polish.

What colors are you rocking on your nails this fall?
